MRICOP’s efforts to help the improvement of the quality of local people’s economy consists of many types. The efforts include any economic activities relevant to local people. To engage local community in plantation and palm oil production results in a transfer of tecnology, knowledge and know-how practices.
Moreover, MRICOP has contributed to local communities such as building infrastructure and school, pagoda, health and sport facilities for their workers and local people. Overall, this type of provision needs to be maintained and improved to show the benefits of plantations to local people.
