MRICOP has invited employees at all level to participate in training on biodiversity conservation to prevent animals especially rare species from going extinct. Employees were educated to strictly adhere to company regulation. With punishments ranging from: fine, work suspension, dismiss when they are caught abusing animals in any forms, employees get a perspective in how to treat animals. Inversely, there is a motivated program to reward employee who report about animals in plantation when they happen to incidentally meet. By just taking pictures and report the location of the animals when they meet, employee will get reward financially. MRICOP strongly hope that this campaign will help to contribute in animals diversity preservation.
To lessen traffic accident, one of the concerning social consequence, staffs have been invited to join training session about traffic rules as a reminder to be more caution while driving. Particiapted were educated in how to read traffic sign, to obey traffic rules and avoid drunk driving.
To keep performance of staffs up to date, MRICOP/MTSI have traning program for staffs who are entitled to their relevant field. Firstly, work related training to upgrade staffs’ capacity in performing their day to day work. Secondly, external training to gain knowledge in how to deal with outside entities. Finally, aiming to develop staffs’ skill to level of international, MRICOP&MTSI give opportunity for oversea training to potential staffs.
Every encounter is a chance for a new learning and experience. From international auditors and clients, training, though informal, is valuable.
